Tsigereda Girmay, a student at Arba Minch University, was born in 1993 E.C in Wolkait Ad- Remetse, from her father Girmay Gebremedin, and her mother, Yabesha yazezewu.

She completed her preparatory education at Wolkait Getachew Azenew High School; According to Arba Minch University, she is a second year student in Hotel and Tourism Management, having been assigned to Arba Minch University since September 2012 E.C.

Tsigereda Girmay was tragically killed on January 23, 2022  at her university.

On the evening of January 23, her close friends said that  Tsigereda had left the dorm.

It is said that she was stabbed by her boyfriend 

She was then taken to the nech-sar  Hospital, but did not survive.

According to her friends, Tsigereda Girmay was stabbed four or five times with a knife. they added that Tsigereda and her killer were classmates.

"I love you, be with me," her boyfriend would say.

Her friends explained that the boy had been arrested and Tsigereda's body had been taken to her family.
