North Korean hackers steal $ 400 million worth of cryptocurrencies in 2021

North Korean hackers have stolen nearly $ 400 million worth of digital assets by launching at least seven attacks on cryptographic sites in Europe in 2021, according to a report.

Blockchain, a source close to Cryptocurrency Transit, said last year was one of the most successful years for cybercriminals in the closed East Asian country of North Korea.

According to the report, the attacks targeted investment firms and centralized businesses.

However, North Korea has repeatedly denied involvement in the alleged cyber-attacks.

"Between 2020 and 2021, North Korea's hacking data was cut by four to seven, and the revenue from these hacks increased by 40 percent," Chainanalisis reported.
